In 1995, The village of Grand Valley and the township of East Luther were amalgamated, creating the the Township of Easter Luther Grand Valley. The township's motto is "Nature's Playgound". This township is home to the Luther Marsh and its wild life. The marsh covers 13,000 acres of which 3,500 acres are a lake.
